In this craft paper plate and construction papers are were to make St. Patrick’s Day mask or craft. If you use holes instead of Patrick’s Eyes then it can be used as a mask. Stick an objects near to the mouth of the mask so that your child properly hold the mask.
Materials required
- Scissor
- Glue
- Paper Plate
- Construction Paper
- And optional things like light orage or green paint and brush for painting.
Procedure:
- Paint the bottom of the paper plate
- Draw mouth using a black marker.
- Cut two circles from paper of white color and one circle for nose from green paper.
- Cut out some rectangles from black & green paper for hat.
- Cut strips of about 1’’ wide and 3-4’’ long from red and orange construction papers.
- Roll them around pen or pencil to curl them
- Apply some glue at the boundaries of the plate and stick the curled cuts there as hair and beard, leave the portion where the hat goes.
- You can also apply some small curls below the hat as bangs
- If you are preparing a mask then use duct tape or masking tape for attaching thin strips of wood.
