When is the St. Patrick’s Day 2016 Chicago Parade and What’s the Schedule for the Parade?

The St. Patrick’s Day 2016 Chicago Parade is scheduled on Saturday, 12th March and the Parade will begin at the 12:00 noon. The First Parade for St. Patrick’s Day was held on March 17th of 1962


The Parade Starts with the dyeing of the river showed in the image given below. But the main Parade will start at the 12:00 noon from Columbus Drive to Monroe Drive through Grant Park for around three hours

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated each year since 100 years and from last 40 years Chicago plumbers turns the river into Green by Dyeing on this event each year. It happens before the starting of the St. Patrick’s Day Chicago Parade. It’s recommended to the public that make use of the public transportation on this event to avoid jams and time wastage.

When dyeing starts on St. Patrick’s Day 2016 Chicago Parade

The dyeing of the river is scheduled for 9’o Clock on Saturday, March 12th 2016. The best place to view this dyeing might be the West side of the Columbus Drive Bridge and East side of the Michigan Avenue Bridge or the lower and lower wacker drive between Columbus Drive and Machigan Avenue.

What you should wear in St. Patrick’s Day 2016 Chicago Parade?

The main theme is always Green but if you are having your kids, family, friends or anyone, you can wear Blue, White or other with the combination of Greens or You can even use Greens Outfits.
